About Kristen

I am a 1989 graduate of the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas, College of Business Administration, Administrative Management with a BBA- Bachelor of Business Administration Degree. I earned my MS- Masters of Science Degree from Amberton University in Garland, Texas in 2000 in Human Relations and Business. I am a member of the most fascinating Sorority in the world, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated Dallas Alumnae Chapter. Ooh-oop! I am an active member of MetroTex Association of Realtors in Dallas where I have had the privilege to volunteer and hold the position of Vice Chair/Chairperson of DFW Realtors In Action, Vice Chair/Chairperson of MetroTex Leadership Academy, serve on the Board of Directors and serve on the Budget and Finance Committee along with a list of other committees. More recently, 2017 I was approved as an instructor for Texas Realtors, As a TR instructor I have been approved to teach GRI Real Estate Marketing/ buyer and seller services, GRI Real Estate Brokerage/ Professional standards, Policies and procedures, Broker and agency relations, and Business development. I have also been approved by the Texas Real Estate Commission to teach all of the pre-licensing real estate classes and CE Electives.
I started my real estate career with Keller Williams Realty, Lake Cities in Garland, Texas in 2004. While there I was a member of the ALC- Agent Leadership Council, which is a group of agents selected for their productivity, professionalism and leadership qualities to represent the views and be a voice for the other agents in the office. I had the privilege to be mentored by one of the top producing REO agents in the office and needless to say, I learned quite a bit in a short period of time about the REO business of real estate. Five years into the business, I realized that I wanted to own my own real estate brokerage and thus left Keller Williams Realty and opened Hylton Homes Realty, LLC in January of 2009. I LOVE real estate and I am very proud to be the owner of Hylton Homes Realty, LLC which specializes in all aspects of residential real estate. I take pride in my real estate business so much so that I have taken the initiative and enrolled in additional courses and earned several real estate designations and certifications which are listed below. I have earned my ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) designation, GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) designation, MRP ( Military Relocation Professional) certification, PSA (Pricing Strategy Advisor) certification SFR (Short Sale Foreclosure Resource Specialist Certification), SRS (Seller Representative Specialist) designation, TAHS (Texas Affordable Housing Specialist) certification and the, TRLP (Texas Realtor Leadership Program) designation. I am such an advocate for education. It is the knowledge that I have learned in this industry that has helped me to be successful and continue to have a referral database of clients. In this business continuing education is very important. Staying abreast of the changing market trends allows me to better service my client's real estate needs.

About Chastity

I am Chastity Hylton, a Real Estate Agent with Hylton Homes Realty. As a young agent in a crowded field, my clients come to me because I am knowledgeable in my field and up to date with this generation’s technological innovations. I go above and beyond to ensure my clients are making an informed decision and bring my outgoing personality and a positive attitude throughout every stage of the transaction.
Before moving into real estate, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Administration of Justice from Texas Southern University. Shortly after graduation, I began my career in law enforcement and obtained my Texas Peace Officer license. In July of 2019, I followed an opportunity to pursue a dual career in real estate, and by December was the first fully licensed agent at Hylton Homes Realty.
With my law enforcement background, I can provide information on safety tips when purchasing a home and what is legal in the state of Texas. I can locate and share information on different city ordinances that could result in a fine as it relates to real estate property. I go the extra mile by being available, transparent, and answer all questions to the best of my ability.
My clients recognize me as professional, understanding and trustworthy. I believe in promptness and clarity to alleviate any stress my clients might face because of the homebuying process. No question is too crazy, no request too daunting. They can be confident that once my job is complete, they will have a real estate transaction they can be proud of.
I joined the real estate business because of the example my mother set with her own business and the value of hard work she instilled in me. This is an industry that operates on a can-do spirit and a drive to respond to clients’ needs, often before they even realize what they want. With my various areas of expertise, I can provide support that goes beyond what is expected of a real estate agent.
